Am I the only one who doesn't "get" Russell Brand?
I mean, I understand that some people enjoy him, but I just don't get it. I'm not saying he isn't funny: any comic who can make a living is obviously funny to somebody and comedy is too personal a thing for me to think that every comic should be somebody I "get".
But Russell Brand is just a straight, British version of Andy Dick. It's pure shock humor, not clever in any way IMO.

Personally I can't fucking stand him. I remember Patrice going off on how british comics are 10-20 years behind american comics and with him thats whats going on.

He had some funny moments in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but other than a few snips I saw of the MTV awards, can't say i've seen/heard anything else he's done
Every time I see Russell Brand I get an overwhelming urge to cut his face. I have no idea and it disturbs me, but I just want to slice his face open. I don't think hes really funny but I don't hate him as much as other comedians. But its like his face is inviting me to put a thousand cuts into it.

He stinks. His whole hacky act is imitating Keith Richards. And you can tell that he thinks he's adorable.
Fixed. Yes, but the fact that he's been in some successful movies backs that up a bit.
