I tuned out and watched this week's Supernatural, then went back to the game. Didn't remotely care about the halftime show.
I don't understand why they don't get some younger bands or something. I mean I'm sure Wackbag as a majority hates them, but why not a band like Linkin Park? They're CURRENTLY popular all over the world, a large portion of the audience listen to them, and it would at least feel fresh. Doesn't have to be Linkin Park obviously, but there are plenty of bands they could get.
The only reason they go with old artists is that they're scared shitless of controversy after that Janet Jackson shit.

I do believe that you answered your own question there.
LP would be a good choice though. a ton of hits, everyone knows them and they have the draw.
on the flip side, does LP draw in the south? they tend to get classic rock and country type people. football's crowd is one step away from nascar's crowd.

Uggggh the north should quit thinking the south is backwards or that we dont have running water and the internet downs hereah.
LP could sell out quicker than the who down here and its classic rock because we can recognize shit music when we hear it and wont buy into all the new crap being shoved on us.
