I honestly don't know why they don't do that. They have 2 rivers to dump
the snow into. It'll melt and go away fast. Better than 10' piles built up.

Eh, something about hurting the environment with some of the chemicals they put on the roads. It's all gonna melt and drain into the rivers anyway, so fuck it.

Exactly. The melted snow from the streets hits the storm drains and just ends
up in the rivers anyway. Unless it gets into the sewer system it isn't treated
before it gets dumped into the Schuylkill or the Delaware.

I only have the Brandywine out near me, so if any snow gets dumped in there, the shit will flood everything.

I think the city did take snow and dump it into the Schuylkill in 1996 when we had 3'.
