Movie & TV show discussions
memento, and Zodiac. Both today.
Hey, BB1, would you mind throwing in 'The Cleveland Show' into the thread title ? Figured it just makes sense to add it to the MacFarlane mix since Im sure we'll be talking about it here. Thanks in advance.
Finally MTV is airing something worth watching. When I was in the Air Force living in the barracks, this was the show that everyone stopped what they were doing and went to the day room to watch. People brought beer, chips, pizza...it was a party. Some of my favorite memories were at those...
If you haven't read the announcement, we have a few new features on the board! The one that probably pertains to this forum the most is the 'spoiler' tags. in this case, the tag-name is: spoiler all you do is type: your text goes here Example: I saw that at the end of Star Wars:...
I have a few hours to kill in town Friday so figured I'd watch a movie. I already seen the Avengers and these two are the only thing that looks interesting. The reviews are pretty bad, neither scored high on Rotten Tomatoes. Anyone watch both? Are they entertaining or a chore to even watch?
http://www.cwtv.com/shows/supernatural :action-sm So glad there wasn't a huge layoff between seasons. Looks pretty dark. There's also a Supernatural anime series now. Not sure how i feel about that. http://www.cwtv.com/cw-video/supernatural-the-anime-series/
Well looks like they're taking a break from Redemption and returning players and going with this One World premise. Could be interesting if the tribes are not only sharing an island but a camp as well.
Well, after a couple of years of speculation its official: HBO has officially greenlit the pilot for George R..R Martin's fantasy epic A Song of Ice and Fire. If it gets picked up for a series HBO will then dedicate a full season to each book, which is the smart move, for a number of reasons that...
Anyone else watching? I dig it. It's filthy, and it makes me laugh.
The date has been selected for Marvel Enterprises much anticipated Avengers Movie...it seems it will go head to head with wizzzzzarrdry aka Harry Potter! Here is the news that dropped today: Time to start this thread! Thor, Cap, Iron Man, Antman (?), Hulk (?) Black Widow (?), obviously a white...
http://collider.com/blade-runner-2-sequel-hampton-fancher/167046/ Oh my god, I am going to have a heart attack. This news is awesome!
I swear, I did a search. I can't find a thread for Red Eye on the Movies & TV board. This show is just fucking funny. It's clever, it's fun, it's as edgy as you get on basic cable (excepting edgy dramas like SOA, The Shield, etc.), and it usually has some pretty hot chicks. On a "news"...
apparently, NO cast changes at all from last year (according to the NBC site and wikipedia). That was really not expected...last year people were insisting that 6 cast members would be gone. Alec Baldwin will deliver a solid season opener....then next week Melissa McCarthy (Molly of mike...
http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/22318/bond-23-the-skyfall-press-conference It's official, "Skyfall" is the name of the upcoming 23rd James Bond film and the third to star actor Daniel Craig in the role. The announcement was made at a press conference in London just moments ago where...
I figured I'd give it a try. Basically the same premise as the music and movie threads, but for tv shows. Right now I'm watching the rebroadcast of the season 6 premiere of "Mindfreak".
Pick-ups are starting to be announced while the upfronts are happening next week Here's what NBC is up to http://insidetv.ew.com/2012/05/07/nbc-white-house/ http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/nbc-orders-white-house-comedy-321139...
LINK: http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118006722.html?categoryid=13&cs=1 Only if Scott stays on as director do I even care about this, but it hasn't even been written yet, so..... we'll see.
Hopefully this one does better than Rubicon. Premieres this Sunday with two episodes. http://www.amctv.com/originals/the-killing/ Sounds almost like The Wire with homicide instead of drugs. I like that idea. I will be watching.
Almost every HBO show ever, every season/episodes streaming. HBO really knows how to keep customers happy. Games Of Thrones I'm watching weekly of course and I just started True Blood, which I have never seen before...After I'm all caught up and Season 5 airs next month. The Wire will be my...
I only caught a little of this this morning, I guess on a replay. It is Tuesday nights usually. This is the same chick, but every other broad they showed had phenomenal boobies too. I believe I shall DVR it.
Is there a thread on this? I don't see it... Anyway, did anyone watch Parks? I saw the last 2 minutes and saw that "Tammy" was in the office with Ron? Did they just re-cast her as a different woman because they couldn't get Megan Mullally, or is it ANOTHER Tammy? Office - So... Spader isn't...
So I never watched Oz during its original run but I just finished watching the entire run on HBO-Go and holy fuck was it a great show. HBO really did have some amazing fucking shows in the 90's... I don't think anyone else has even come close to ensemble casts that reel me in and make me want...

So in the last couple weeks I have been called out for not seeing some movies. While I believe I have seen most of the important ones, I just watched "The Big Lebowski" for the first time and now I'm wondering what other movies I have missed that I need to see. Thought it might be interesting to...
"Is it just me or is the lobby full of negroes?" The big two hour season premiere was tonight and it was awesome. I guess I should have known that this season wouldn't pick up immediately after the end of the last one, but they really let a bunch of seemingly important stuff happen in the...
The Asian bitch sucks and is not nearly as hot as Masters, 13, or Cameron.
I enjoyed the show, but it's just another cop drama. Leelee is still smoking hot. Bob had more airtime than I thought he would. I hope they keep his character around.
It's said to be a spaghetti western set in the Reconstruction-era South. Already cast are old-school spaghetti western star Franco Nero, and Christoph Waltz. Link
*Shit. Mods, please move this to the music forum.* Link
With Bill Paxton and Kevin Costner Looks good. Surprised it's on The History Channel.

In an attempt to build a movie making complex that would create $300 Million in jobs (a feat even the Big O couldn't accomplish) he got resistance from the area neighbors. Soooooo..... http://www.thesuperficial.com/george-lucas-is-straight-gangster-05-2012
http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/23855/-paddington-bear-becomes-a-movie Great ruin another thing I loved as a child. The only way Paddington Bear would be good is if it was this version. "Harry Potter" series producer David Heyman and Studiocanal are teaming for a combination...
Los Angeles, 1949. Ruthless, Brooklyn-born mob king Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn) runs the show in this town, reaping the ill-gotten gains from the drugs, the guns, the prostitutes and--if he has his way--every wire bet placed west of Chicago. And he does it all with the protection of not only his own...
Here ya go  http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2012/05/09/seinfeld-returning-to-tv-with-comics-and-cars/ The mystery project Jerry Seinfeld hinted at via Twitter is a star-studded new reality show tentatively titled "Comics and Cars," The Daily's official blog revealed. Details are...
I'm sure this thread or one like it exists elsewhere, but the search feature on wackbag sucks a bag of hairy nuts. I just finished the 24th episode of the premiere season (Holy shit, 24?!?) and I have to admit it. I'm all in. This stupid shit show caught my attention, and I actually care about...
Juicy story on TMZ. Involves the phrases "reverse massage" and "touched his scrotum." It's titillating. Enjoy http://www.tmz.com/2012/05/07/john-travolta-sued-masseur-sexual-assault-lawsuit/ It sounds like bs to me
From the guy who brought you Zombieland. Release date is still unofficial. Sometime in October-November. Looks pretty cool. EDIT: Inb4 thread already started. I used the damn search function.
This is a new show that premiered tonight on History Channel. It's pretty entertaining.
Saw this ad last night, make of it what you will. Looks good to me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1C4FqTfFma8
Too lazy to search for old threads. Some new rumors are out regarding Batman 3...or 3atman as I am coining it. I don't trust anything until it comes from Nolan, so take it for what it's worth. Firstshowing.net is saying Joseph Gordon Leavitt is going to be the Riddler. Not really a fan if...
looks pretty good, even though i don't like the idea of it being a dark comedy.
